PETAL, MISSISSIPPI — Republican candidate for U.S. Congress Brian Rose is kicking off a 14 county Town Hall Meeting Tour next week in Forrest County. Rose’s town hall meeting schedule is in direct contrast to Rep. Steven Palazzo’s record Of failing to hold a single live town hall event in over five years.
Rose will begin the tour at the Petal Civic Center in Petal, Mississippi on October 23rd at 6pm. The event will be co-hosted by Petal Mayor Hal Marx.
“Since Congressman Palazzo refuses to meet with his constituents, I will, and I will do so in every corner of South Mississippi,” Rose said. “I have spent the majority of my life as a Mississippian and I look forward to listening to the concerns of the people, rather than the lobbyists and special interest groups of Washington.”
Rose will cover topics important to Mississippi and the nation. Those topics include healthcare, taxes, support of President Trump’s agenda, preserving our state history, national security, and the values of South Mississippians.
The event is open to the public and will include an open forum for questions and answers.
Riders from Bikers for Trump will be escorting Rose to the event in a spectacular display of patriotism down the streets of Forrest County.
When: Monday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM
Where: Petal Civic Center, 712A S Main St, Petal, MS 39465
