U.S. House of Representatives Candidate E. Brian Rose announced today he will not seek reelection to the Jackson County Republican Club Board of Directors.
Rose, who announced his candidacy for Congress last November, was elected to the Board in December of 2016. His one year term expires at the end of this year.
“Serving on the Board of Directors for the Jackson County Republican Club has been very rewarding. I look forward to finishing my term with the same enthusiasm in which it began,” Rose said. “I really enjoy representing the members on the Board, but as my campaign goes into full swing, I wanted to make sure there was no conflict of interest. I will continue to be a loyal member of the club and look forward to electing new Board Members in December.”
Mr. Rose worked with other Board members to facilitate a number of Republican candidate forums for this year’s municipal election cycle. He also played an instrumental role in garnering support for newly elected Ocean Springs Mayor Shea Dobson.
Jackson County Republican Club President Jeremy England said, “Brian has been an asset to the team. He has served his position enthusiastically and we look forward to more great things from him in the future.”
